Y2K is Make Pop Music’s drum sample and vital preset library inspired by the iconic records of the late 90s and early 2000s!
The sounds of this era are some of the most nostalgic, but still tried and true sounds to ever come out of pop music, and Make Pop Music thinks it’s time for you to have these tools in your arsenal. Our Y2K pack is a drum sample and preset pack heavily inspired by the pop, hip hop, and r&b records of the late 90s and early 2000s, but with a modern twist. You’ll find sounds inspired by Max Martin, Pharrell, Timbaland, Rodney Jerkins, Jermaine Dupri, and more hall-of-fame producers!
We have given you our version of all of the iconic and classic sounds like orchestra hits, record scratches, trunk rattling kicks, snappy and sizzly snares, and tons more.
Y2K contains 511 individual one shot samples that include drums, percussion, fx, and synth shots. Every sample in this pack was either created completely from scratch, or rigorously sampled from vintage machines used in the 90s and 2000s. All samples have been mixed, layered, and exported to give you a modern twist to your favorite nostalgic sounds. We also included 105 brand new, custom presets for Vital (a top tier free synthesizer) inspired by the sounds of classic synths and rompers from the Y2K era.
